Riffelhaus 1853 Hotel Zermatt

Incredible Matterhorn view, friendly staff, outdoor jacuzzi with a view, nice breakfast options, renovated sauna/spa area.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The view from my room was amazing, with fine vistas of the mountains. The staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The room was super clean and the modern bathroom was a great touch. The location was perfect, allowing me to easily explore the beautiful surroundings. The hotel facilities were great, especially the spa which was fabulous. The breakfast had a lovely selection of coffee, tea, cheeses, and breads. All in all, a fantastic experience.

Beautiful location with Matterhorn view. Spacious and clean room with balconies. Delicious and beautifully presented food. Attentive and caring staff. No piped music in dining room. Refreshing fruit bowl and drinks in spa. Excellent staff throughout. Very clean wellness area.

I was blown away by the location of this hotel. Surrounded by amazing mountains and fresh alpine air, it was a true escape. The ski in and out access made hitting the slopes easy. The rooms were modern and comfortable, and the bathrooms were great. The staff members were friendly, knowledgeable, and were great too make sure we had a great time. One of the highlights was the spa and jacuzzi with the perfect relaxation after a long day of skiing. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious, and the director personally checked in with guests, adding a personal touch to our stay. I had an really good experience at Riffelhaus 1853 and would highly recommend it.

The location of the hotel is outstanding, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The spa facilities are excellent, with a large sauna and steam bath for guests to enjoy. the staff is friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay for families with children.

The service of the staff could be improved to provide a more efficient and seamless experience for guests.

I had a wonderful stay at this luxurious and comfortable hotel. The location and views were absolutely phenomenal. I was able to ski right from the hotel and enjoy the beautifully empty slopes. The staff, from the waiters to the hotel manager, were extremely friendly and took the time to talk and explain everything about the hotel. They provided excellent service and made me feel valued as a guest. The breakfast buffet was delicious, especially the Birchermüsli. The renovated sauna and spa area was small but very nice, and the hot tub with a view of the Matterhorn was the perfect way to unwind after a day on the slopes.

I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.
